Our creative project aims to celebrate the rich history of these crosses, to recognise the risks early Christians made in wearing them. To commemorate a period of time so crucial to our spiritual and societal growth. Constantine the Great paved the way for better acceptance of Christianity and allowed it to come out from the shadows into daily culture. Despite so many attempts to persecute and remove Christianity from Roman lands eventually this faith rose up to shape the future of the Roman Empire. The cross slowly became a more accepted symbol. In early years it was a sign made with your hands in secret. Slowly it became possible to wear a cross.
